We’d like this super sexy heroine to save us from a burning building any day. Vixen really lives up to her name with her allure and kickass superheroine look. Girls want to be her, guys want to be in bed with her. Jealous much? The light bounces effortlessly off her perfect skin and golden clothing, where the combination of Flemish style painting and comic book cool all add to her proud, queen-like nature. As one of the few black superheroines, she has definitely captured our attention.

This portrait is part of the photographic series that sees Jenny Boot merge her two series’ that she created for the Public House of Art. Half superhero-inspired and half a modern take on a traditional, flemish image.
